What are the business hours? Starting at what time can I make a reservation ?


Low season starting September 6th :
Sunday to Thursday : 10 am to 9 pm
Friday – Saturday : 10 am to 10 pm

Massages start daily at 8:45am and aesthetic treatments at 9:00am.


Summer operating hours (from June 24 to September 5): Every day from 10:00am to 10:00pm.

What are the Holidays operating hours/rates?


We are open and we maintain our regular schedules, with exceptions **.

The holiday season at Spa Bolton starts from December 21, 2018 to January 13, 2019. During this period, the high season rates and schedule will apply.

Spa Access (thermal experience): Available daily from 10 am to 10 pm ** – always without reservations for the Spa Access.

Massages and beauty cares offered daily from 8:45am to 8:00pm – reservations are required.

For these Holidays exceptions, massages and beauty cares are offered from 8:45am to 3pm – reservations are required.

Are lockers provided?

Upon your arrival at the Spa, the attendants at the welcoming station hand you a complimentary key for you to safely store your personal effects in a secure locker, in exchange for an identification card (driver’s permit or medical insurance card) which will be returned to you when you leave.

Is whispering allowed on the site?

It is possible to whisper in a few places on the site (Bistro, terrace, outdoor spas, pool).
Complete silence is required in the saunas, eucalyptus steam baths, savusaunas and yurts.

What must I bring for my visit at the Spa?

Here are the suggestions from our loyal guests. Leave mind free and prepare your bag the day before. It’s better to be more than prepared by including the following items in your bag.

  • Towel for the shower (1x towel is included)
  • Bathrobe (not mandatory, but we recommend it for your comfort)

  • Your personal accessories for a good shower before leaving

What is the dress code for the thermal experience (spa access)? What's prohibited for the spa access

First of all, know that the hydrofuge sunscreen is accepted in the baths. To respect clients privacy, it is mandatory to wear a bathing suit. For men and women, only one-pieces, two-pieces, Speedos or Brazilian bottoms are accepted. Thongs bottoms are prohibited.

A swimsuit is made of bathing suits fabrics.

Must I make reservations for baths and saunas?

No reservation is required for baths. In order to preserve a relaxing atmosphere on the site, it is possible that we limit the access to Scandinavian baths which could create delays. However, this is rare. Furthermore, it is strongly recommended to call a few days ahead to reserve your massages, aesthetic treatments or your discount package to insure availability on the day of your visit, as well as at the most convenient time for you.

Are there any RESTRICTIONS for pregnant women?

Alternating from warm to cold may not be suitable for pregnant women, please consult your physician. Massages for pregnant women are only administered to women having reached 3 months gestation.

Are there any restrictions for people suffering from tachycardia, hypotension, high blood pressure, or having had a cerebrovascular accident?

It is imperative that anyone with a medical heart condition must consult with his or her doctor for professional medical advice before participating in such activities.

Is CONSUMPTION OF alcohol or drugs prohibited?

Absolutely. We discourage the consumption of either alcohol or drugs before and during a thermal experience. Alcohol increases arterial pressure, as do saunas and steam baths. Like alcohol, it is forbidden to consume cannabis at the Spa Bolton.

Can children receive massages?

Children (aged 15 years and under) can receive a massage at Spa Bolton. However, each child must be accompanied by an adult (aged 16 years and over) during the care. The accompanying adult must be in the room during the massage (relaxing chair provided) or both can have a duo massage (in a double room separated from a curtain for intimacy). Can children take the spa access?

Yes. Child from 12 to 15 years old (Sunday to Friday only, accompanied by an adult 16 years and older).

Can we bring food and beverages?

Although we have a Bistro on the premises, you may bring your lunch. It is prohibited to bring alcoholic drinks on the site.

What is the policy in respect to reservations cancellations?

Cancellation of massages and treatments
In the case of a cancellation, you must notify the Spa at least 48 hours ahead. Otherwise, a $40 cancellation fee will be charged to your credit card, as it will also be for any aesthetic treaments of a $50 value or more. Should you wish to reschedule your treaments, a $23 fee will be charged to your credit card.

How can I apply for a sponsorship?

Is the Spa open even when it rains or when it is cold outside?

Rain or shine, Spa Bolton stays open 365 days a year. However, we ask people to exit the pool whenever there is a thunderstorm.

Is it possible to make a reservation for a massage when one is already on the site?

It is possible to ask for a massage for the same day, but it is preferable to do so ahead of time to insure the massage therapist’s availability.

Do your massage therapists provide accredited receipts for insurance purposes?

Yes, all our massage therapists can write receipts for insurance claims.

Do Gift Certificates have an expiration date?

Gift certificates which were purchased have a lifetime monetary value, according to the consumer protection law. The only gift certificates with an expiry date are those which involve an exchange of services. It is then possible for these to have an expiration date.

Do you honour WaySpa and Spafinder cards?

Yes, these are recognized.

Do you have an electric charging station?

No, we have an electrical outlet 20, 120 volts available for customers to connect an adapter and charge electric cars. You must bring your adapter, as needed. Currently, the full load takes 12 hrs.
