These terms and conditions of purchase govern all transactions made on the website www.spabolton.com, as well as the use of any product or service offered by Spa Bolton Inc., whose head office is located at 883 Route 245 South, Bolton-East, Quebec, Canada. By making a purchase on our website or reserving a service, you agree to all of the terms and conditions set out below.

1. General Provisions

Spa Bolton products and services are subject to applicable laws and regulations in Quebec, including those of the Office de la protection du consommateur (OPC).
Unless otherwise specified, all sales are final, non-refundable, non-redeemable, and non-transferable.
Spa Bolton reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions, prices, or policies without notice.
The most recent version is always available on our website and supersedes any previous version.

2. Prices and currencies

All prices displayed on our site are in Canadian dollars (CAD), before applicable taxes.
Spa Bolton bills exclusively in Canadian currency.
Rates are subject to change without notice.

3. Cancellation policy – Massages and relaxation treatments

  • Cancellations are free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled time of your treatment.
  • After this time, a cancellation fee of $80 + tax per massage or beauty treatment will be charged to the credit card used at the time of booking.
  • For treatments valued at less than $80, the total amount will be charged.
  • Cancellations must be made by phone, clearly specifying the appointments concerned.

4. Minimum age requirement

  • Access to the spa, massage therapy, and relaxation treatments is reserved for persons aged 12 and over.
  • Persons under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or adult at all times.
  • Special “Parent-Child Sweet Mornings” events welcome children ages 7 to 11 on select dates. Please inquire with our team for availability.

5. Code of Conduct – Spa Attitude

The Bolton Spa is a place of calm, respect, and rejuvenation.
By accessing our facilities, you agree to abide by the Spa Attitude code, based on collective well-being:

  • Do not visit the site under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
    Violators will be asked to leave the premises without compensation or refund.
  • Do not access the facilities if your health condition presents a contraindication (e.g., pregnancy, hypertension, heart disease, cancer, etc.).
  • Return all loaned items (bathrobes, towels, padlocks). Fees may apply if items are not returned.
  • Respect the quiet and relaxation areas.
  • Walk carefully on the premises and wear sandals at all times.
  • Remove jewelry and glasses before entering the saunas.
  • Shower before and after baths and massages to preserve water quality.
  • Leave valuables in the lockers. Spa Bolton is not responsible for loss or damage.
  • Glass containers and outside food are prohibited, except in the bistro or designated picnic areas.
  • Access to the river is at your own risk and may be restricted depending on weather conditions.
  • The use of cell phones and tablets is limited to reading without sound or vibration. Personal photos are permitted if they do not disturb other guests and do not include any other identifiable persons.

Any behavior deemed inappropriate or disrespectful may result in immediate expulsion without refund.

6. Limitation of Liability

Spa Bolton declines all responsibility for any loss, damage, accident, illness, temporary closure, or limitation of services resulting from a case of force majeure (bad weather, strike, pandemic, natural disaster, etc.), or for any other event beyond its reasonable control.

7. Compliance and personal information

In order to ensure the safety and quality of our services, Spa Bolton may request certain personal information or supporting documents.
This information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Act 25.
No information will be used for any other purpose without your consent.

8. Gift Certificates and resale

  • Any illegal resale of tickets or gift cards is strictly prohibited and may result in their cancellation without refund.
  • Gift certificates are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and non-redeemable for cash.
  • Any promotional use (contests, advertising, lotteries, etc.) is prohibited without the prior written consent of Spa Bolton.

9. Eligibility and safety

The spa experience is not recommended for people suffering from:
heart problems, high blood pressure, diabetes, angina, respiratory disorders, or any other medical condition that may pose a risk.
The use of products containing alcohol, cannabis, drugs, or tobacco is strictly prohibited on the premises.
In case of reasonable doubt, Spa Bolton reserves the right to check the contents of bags or lockers in the presence of the customer concerned.

10. Refusal of access and expulsion

Spa Bolton reserves the right to refuse or expel any person whose behavior, comments, or attitude are contrary to its values, code of conduct, or ethics.

Communications, whether on site or online, must be respectful, harmonious, and courteous.

The following are prohibited:

  • insulting, threatening, or defamatory comments;
  • racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, obscene, or violent content.

Any violation may result in immediate refusal of access without refund.

11. Delivery policy (gift cards)

For all gift card purchases sent by mail, delivery is made via Canada Post at a fixed cost of $6 per gift card.
The estimated delivery time is 5 to 7 business days, with no guarantee of delivery.

12. Modification of Terms and Conditions

Spa Bolton may update these terms and conditions at any time without notice.
The date of the last revision is indicated at the bottom of this page.
